We’ve hit that point of the year in our family where almost every weekend is filled with family birthday parties and weddings. With this weekend also being Father’s day weekend, and being lucky enough to have both of our dads local, it was a full weekend. Saturday we had my mother-in-law’s birthday and my niece’s birthday as well as Father’s day. Of course, this meant Saturday I was running around trying to find last minute presents for everyone. The highlight of my shopping adventures yesterday was picking out clothes for my newly-10 year old niece at J.Crew. I had so much fun that I barely spent any time shopping for myself! I still managed to pick up (another) pair of leather Cece flats in neon pink, so I didn’t completely neglect myself. But I wanted to bring home every sparkly neon tee for my niece, I had to cut myself off!

Summer still hasn’t arrived here, so jeans it was. Which was ok since these J.Crew Factory garment-dyed skinny jeans in spearmint haven’t gotten as much love as I would have liked this year. I decided on my J.Crew Polka-dot ruffle top and lightweight cotton  J.Crew Factory Always Cardigan since it was supposed to warm up so this was a good layering option although I really kept the cardigan on for most of the day. My flats are one of my many pairs of J.Crew Cece ballet flats in tawny sand.  I finished it off with a mix of mint and leopard print bracelets and all in all, a good Saturday outfit that took me from running errands all day to family dinner and even some tumbling around with my nieces and nephews. All in all, a great Saturday. I hope everyone had a great weekend and would love to hear what you think about the outfit 🙂
