Every year I wait too long to shop for casual and office shoes for spring; mostly because spring can be such a short season. I consider spring shoes to be non-sandals and these shoe picks for spring do not include sneakers. I wear sneakers to the office and sometimes sandals but I’ll save those for another post. These are some casual and office shoes for spring I currently own. I’m also sharing some casual and office shoes for spring that will help you create effortless style this spring.
- Woven Mary Janes. These also come in silver and a camel color, but both of those colors are mostly sold out. I purchased the camel colored ones (still deciding if I’m keeping them). Considering how often I wear black in the summer, similar to the woven loafers these help give a summer vibe to black flats. Here’s how I would style these casual shoes for spring.
- Mary Jane Flats. These are definitely an investment pair of casual shoes for spring. I own these in black and I noticed the price of these has unfortunately risen since I purchased them last year. I recently shared that Zara has a similar pair of ivory Mary Janes. These were worth the investment for me in black as I wore them multiple seasons and I have walked miles in them with no issues. They come in a variety of neutral shades. Here’s how I would style these shoes for spring.
- Camel Pointed Toe Ballet Flats. These flats are also a bit more of an investment but I purchased these last year and they were in regular rotation. I still like pointed toe flats as casual and office shoes for spring and have gravitated towards this style more than the square toe flats. Here are two outfits wearing these camel colored pointy toe flats. I’d also wear the woven camel loafers with both of these outfits as well. (L): J.Crew Blouse, Madewell Jeans, Celine bag, Jenni Kayne Sweater. (R): Zara Blazer (old), Banana Republic Factory jeans (old, linked similar here), APC handbag.
- Neutral Horsebit Loafer. I own these neutral loafers in a slightly darker shade and are in regular rotation throughout spring and summer. I purchased a slide version of these shoes J.Crew Factory earlier this year. The horsebit style is inspired by a popular designer style. I think these are a reasonable look for less and like the more substantial buckle on them. Here’s how I styled the darker shade of these loafers. I’d swap the sweater for a striped tee with the charcoal jeans for warmer weather. L: Madewell Jeans, J.Crew blouse (old), APC handbag. (R): J.Crew sweater (old), H&M Blazer, Madewell Jeans, Dior handbag.
- Slingback Pointy Toe Heels. These were another Instagram recommendation and I cannot recommend them enough. These are a heel that I can wear all day. I wear them out to dinner often and they come in a variety of colors and materials. I own them in the beige patent leather and black suede. I’m wearing them here paired with a printed dress (outfit rented from Rent the Runway) and last summer with white linen pants and a bright colored cashmere cable sweater.
- Studded Rhinestone Denim Flats. Rhinestones and denim in a way that’s stylish? Sign me up. I have hesitated to dip my toe in to the mesh toe rhinestone flat trend. These denim and rhinestone flats are tempting and would hit both the denim and embellished shoe trend for this spring. Here’s how I would style these casual and office shoes for spring.
- Silver Kitten Heel Slides. A metallic shoe is a must in your closet for spring/summer 2024 which continues from last summer. I love the buckle on these and I would pair with a black or navy outfit at work or an evening out. Here’s two ways I paired them recently for a dinner in NYC and for work. Outfit links: (L) Veronica Beard Jacket, J. Crew Sweater, J. Crew Jeans, Celine Handbag. (R) J. Crew Sweater, Mango Skirt, YSL Handbag.
- Woven Loafers. I have not looked closely at J.Crew Factory shoes in a few years and have been pleasantly surprised to see some of their offerings lately. These would pair well with any shade of denim and are a nice warm weather alternative to a loafer. I’d style these similar to how I styled the camel pointy toe flats.
- Red Ballet Flats. I bought these flats last year and originally wasn’t going to buy them because of the charm. However, I saw a recommendation to clip the charms off with a jewelry plier and problem solved. I paired them here with an all denim outfit and black lady jacket. I would wear in to spring without the jacket or a black tee/cropped jeans. Additionally, a camel sweater tee, jeans and the red flats would transition in to spring.
Do you have any favorites from this list? What casual and office shoes for spring could you see yourself wearing? Would love to hear what you think and thanks so much for stopping by!
